We’re aiming for “lean, clean and green”
LEAN – limit the amount of flammable vegetation
CLEAN – remove any dry or dead flammable vegetation and debris
GREEN – create a well-irrigated yard and use native or drought tolerant vegetation

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
What to Bring: gloves, hat/sunscreen, gardening tools
Location: Meet in the parking lot between Building 300-320
*Drinks and snacks to be provided
Work Locations (at rear of all buildings):
1. Bldg 400 – native plant planting
2. Bldg 300 – clear, prepare and plant native plants in the strip of dirt adjacent to rear sidewalk
3. Bldg 320 – clear, prepare and plant native plants in concrete planter box behind bldg
